Sorry its been a while, we did get back from Dublin on Monday afternoon and I was then at the conference on Tuesday expecting to be able to blog Tuesday night but unfortunately something I ate was no good and I spent the night with my head in a bucket. Thankfully Mum was here to give Ted his night feed as I was paranoid that if I touched him I might pass on the bacteria and it would be dreadful for him to get food poisoning being so small and I think quite dangerous. I felt like hell and lost a few pounds on the way, and I have not been able to sort out my photos from Ireland, so I will put some up on Saturday.
I made a full recovery from the incident by resting up yesterday and was able to go back to the conference today which was great. We are meeting Des and Ron early tomorrow with Ted which will be great and will then be driving up to see Zana and Patrick and Guy for the day. Then on the weekend we will be seeing almost all of the family – Perryman / Gubbins on Saturday and all the Lights on Sunday which is brilliant – and there will no doubt be lots of photos of all the kids to go up next week.
Next week life will abit more back to normal with swimming on Monday, coffee on Tuesday, Swim class on Wednesday and Bumps and Babes on Friday – it will be good to be back to normal for me and for Ted.
The conference – Leaders for London – was very inspiring with brilliant speakers over the three days – which made it all the more galling to have missed the second day – although it has now inspired me to make sure I go back to work and have something to really get my teeth into. I enjoyed the work element of the conference and it has made me sure that going back to work is absolutely what I want to do – but not being away from home – well Ted really for such long days and overnight last night – although I slept for 7 and a half hours straight which hasn’t happened for a while. At least when I go back I don’t work in central london so don’t need to have such long days.
Well its been a busy week with the Dublin trip and the conference and I will be glad to slow things down a little in the run up to Christmas.
